Objective:
I am a playful tomboy, full-grown at only 40 lbs, seeking an active family or a home with playmates, a yard with room to run, and squeaky toys. I also have a loving side, so an affectionate family with big hearts that gives belly rubs would be a good match. Ultimately, I am looking for a home where my skills are valued and where I can find my lifelong best friend.
Previous Positions: 1) CMLR Foster Dog, March 2020 - present - I was timid when I came to CMLR, but my fosters have given me confidence and taught me what it feels like to be loved. - Reason for leaving: I have since come out of my shell and am ready to find my furever home. 2) Unknown - Bella was dumped in a park where she loyally waited for her owners to come back for her. After a few days, she finally let her finder rescue her.
Skills: - Sporting dog with a great nose - Crate trained - Cat-friendly - Dog-friendly (best with dogs of equal or greater size) - Kid-friendly - Loving - Knows basic commands

1) Veterinarian - "Bella is a bill of perfect health: she is heartworm negative, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives."
2) Foster Brother (13-year-old human) - "Bella is my favorite dog to sleep with because she doesn't move around a lot and she sleeps curled up at my feet."
3) Foster Brother (dog) - "Bella is fun to play tag with, but she usually wins because she's really fast!"
4) Foster Mom (human) - "When she looks up at you with her wagging tail and big pouty eyes, your heart is certain to melt."
5) Foster Dad (human) - "Bella is definitely a daddy's girl. She would make a great hunting buddy but is equally happy sitting next to you on the couch watching sports."
